Fertilizer coating machine and coating materials
2024-08-13Fertilizer coating machine is a device for coating fertilizer particles. It improves the properties of fertilizer, prolongs the release time, reduces volatilization, and increases fertilizer efficiency by coating a thin film on the surface of fertilizer granules.
The coating method is a method of coating a thin layer of material on the surface of the fertilizer by physical means. Its properties and effects are improved and enhanced compared with the original fertilizers. Coated fertilizers are also called coated fertilizers or wrapped fertilizers. According to the release characteristics, they are divided into slow-release fertilizers or controlled-release fertilizers.
Advantages of Coated Fertilizers
1. High nutrient utilization rate: Coated fertilizers can reduce fertilizer nutrient loss and improve fertilizer utilization rate.
2. Good controlled release effect: Coated fertilizers have the characteristics of slow release and controlled release, which can prolong nutrient release time and improve fertilizer efficiency.
3. Reduce environmental impact: Avoid soil caking caused by excessive fertilization of dryland crops and water pollution.
In summary, the advantages of coated fertilizers are mainly reflected in the good controlled release effect and high nutrient utilization rate. However, there are also some disadvantages, such as high cost and poor adaptability. When choosing to use coated fertilizers, it is necessary to comprehensively consider factors such as crop demand, soil conditions, and fertilization technology, and use them reasonably to exert their effects.
Raw materials that can be used for coating
The materials commonly used for coating include inorganic coating materials, synthetic polymer materials, natural polymer materials, etc.
1. Sulfur: Sulfur has been successfully used in the industrial production of sulfur-coated urea. The typical formula is 36% N, 10%~16% S, 5% sealant, and a conditioner (diatomaceous earth powder). Using sulfur as a coating material for urea can not only improve the utilization rate of urea, but also provide sulfur nutrients to crops.
2. Calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer is used as a coating material for granular compound fertilizers, which effectively controls the release of nutrients and other good effects. At the same time, it provides citric acid-soluble phosphorus and calcium and magnesium nutrients to crops.
3. Ammonium magnesium phosphate, phosphate rock powder, alkaline slag and other insoluble phosphates can be used as coating materials. The phosphorus contained will be slowly released for crop absorption under the action of soil and crop roots.
4. Kaolin, diatomaceous earth, talcum powder, porcelain clay, etc. can be selected according to supply channels and prices. The particle size of solid mineral raw materials should be 90% less than 10μm and 50% less than 1μm for the best effect.
The selection of suitable coating raw materials depends on factors such as product characteristics, usage requirements, packaging purpose and environmental protection requirements.
