Working Principle

The U-Type Ribbon Mixer operates based on the bidirectional conveying and stirring of the ribbon agitator, driven by a motor and reducer. When working:

1. Materials are fed into the U-shaped trough through a feeding device (such as a screw conveyor), and the trough provides a closed, stable mixing space.

2. The motor drives the dual-layer ribbon agitator to rotate—outer ribbons (with larger diameter) rotate clockwise, pushing materials from both ends of the trough to the center;

3. Inner ribbons (with smaller diameter) rotate counterclockwise, conveying materials from the center to both ends of the trough;

4. This continuous bidirectional material flow forms a strong turbulent mixing effect, making materials collide, shear, and blend fully in the trough;

5. After reaching the preset mixing time, the discharge valve at the bottom of the trough opens, and materials are completely discharged under the action of the ribbon agitator, with no residue left.
