What Is a Pan Granulator?

A Pan Granulator is a circular disc-shaped machine equipped with a motor, reducer, spray system, and scraper. The angle of the disc and the speed of rotation can be adjusted to control granule size and shape.

Working Process

Material Feeding: Powdered material is fed onto the rotating disc.

Binder Spraying: A spraying system evenly distributes a binder (such as water or a liquid solution) onto the material.

Granule Formation: The rotating disc, combined with the binder, causes the material to roll and collide, gradually forming spherical particles.

Discharge: As the granules reach the desired size, they are discharged from the edge of the disc.

Continuous Operation: The process is continuous, with constant feeding and discharge.
